Field site refelction

I must admit, I didn't know how i would like kindergarten due to me working with preK so long. But these last two weeks in my kindergarten class has been so wonderful. I love the class Im in as well as the great teacher I have. Everything's just so perfect to me! Whoever thought you could connect/bond with a child  before the child gets connected to you? I sure didn't. I have a special bond with every single one of the students in my class.
Ive experienced so many new things in my class. Such as "ClassDojo" I've never heard of that until now. ClassDojo was the first thing my teacher introduced me to my first week. I must say, it sure does  come in handy. ClassDojo helps teachers encourage students in classrooms and engage parents! I think it's one of the best things to use to keep your class under control. My teacher puts the ClassDojo  site up on the overhead and allows the children and parents to see the behavior and how many points they've earned and lost. I must say ClassDojo is a good way to get your students attention. All you have to say is "Ok I, getting on ClassDojo now",and they fall right in line and start acting the appropriate way.
I've picked a great teacher/class this year. I plan on having a great year and learn new teaching strategies.
