effective discipline

As I continue reading Harry Wongs book, up comes "Discipline Plans".
Harry Wong states in order to have an sucessful classroom, you MUST have an discipline plan. I agree, because what's a classroom without an discipline plan? Better yet without an EFFECTIVE discipline plan.

Your discipline plan should include; rules, consequences, and rewards. That's all you need to make sure your discipline plan is effective. For example, the discipline plan I plan to have in the future will be a very basic old fashioned color chart but the children in my will ,ost definitely know the rights and wrongs to my discipline plan, they will also know the rewards and  consequences that follow those rights and wrongs, and that's all you need.
Your class needs to understand what's going on in your discipline plan, not just what it is.
